Disaster!

Well, what i'm going to tell you about is not 100%, as the title says, disastrous.
Disaster:
Ear infection (which sucks). Had to go to a different hospital due to the fact that my ususal GP was on holiday (AND the secretary. Screw you NHS!). Triage nurse was pretty much quick.
Good part (See?):
Blood pressure excellent
Disaster II: Revenge
I had to wait 4 HOURS for the GP to see me (They were seeing 3pm appointments at 4pm. That's how slow it was due to "Staff Shortage"). Results? Ear infection, antibiotics and ear drops for a week. 4 hours just for that? Why couldn't my GP down my road tell me that?!!
Point of the blog:
NEVER, under any circumstance, NEVER get an ear infection this time of the year!

Yeah it seems tobe getting worse, a friends son put a marble in his ear. So off to A&E they went, only to be told, that this was no longer classed as an emergency and they had to go back to the local GP and be referred !!
So the poor kid had to have this marble in his ear for four days until an appointment was available !! |
