Linux Vs. Windows

Nope, not a takeover attempt decided by Microsoft, just wondering what people think of the Operating Systems, comparisons, etc..

linux is so much better. its free and everything for it is free. its more secure. it doesn't have those annoying quirks like vista. it can run windows programs with WINE. it has a huge support base. the list goes on....
if your interested, id use ubuntu linux. works nicely and the forums for it have half a million members, so plenty of people to help you. and you can dual boot, which will allow you to choose windows or linux when you boot up your computer. |

CloudedVision, everyone apart from you say that if i do dual boot im going to get more problems in the long run, even wesh said and he has done a MS course.

stormy, i have not yet heard one good reason as to WHY you would have problems in the long run.
