Switched to Aptana, and lovin' every minute of it

I've been a Dreamweaver user up until now, but it's been developing quirks lately, so I thought I would try out something new. So I downloaded Aptana and the PHP plugin for Aptana, got XAMPP and configured it with Aptana, set up Aptana's FTP, and got the browser preview working. Absolutely love it. Sure, it's missing the WYSIWYG editor, but what do I care, I'm fluent in HTML and CSS and never used Dreamweaver's WYSIWYG much anyways. And the live previews (shows exactly what you'll see in Firefox and IE) definitely make up for it. So come on and give Aptana a shot, you won't regret it.

Does it have short cut keys?

A few, but nothing like Ctrl + Alt + i = new image or something like that. They have nifty ones like Ctrl + Alt + Up Arrow = duplicate the line

When the GCSEs go away I might give it a try. Infact, when I get my laptop I will use it cos I cannot find the Dreamweaver 8 disc! Does it work in Vista?

Nothing works with Vista :P
checked the site, doesn't say. Since its Java-based it should work without to many quirks. |

I really like the sound of the live previews in firefox, that would really be good for beginners like myself
