This is the only blog where low-calcium is ok!
Welcome to the humble blog for Idiots, its almost like Web 2.1 for Dummies. EXCEPT its more blunt and half as much sodium.
I own various web-sites here and there and I'll be bloging about the extraneous task of making them from not-so-great to fantastic (in 3 easy years.) Enjoy!

So today I decided to check all the functions of this new firorFox add-on. One of the functions renders mobile pages, it takes sites and shows you what it would look like in mobile. So I did the portal.
It looks like, in design I'll have no more restructuring or reprogramming for the portal. Since I use master pages and all my master pages are perfect XHTML Transitional, has no JavaScript, and uses a few images, it was completely compatible with mobile systems. Get this it looks like a normal mobile page.
Here is a snapshot of the mobile look of the Seal Portal Log-In page, EGT Man's Spot page, and the registration page - in that order.
{See Attachment}
The good news, NO NEED FOR REPROGRAMMING the portal is already compatible with mobile browsers. So get your pages to validate and it just might be compatible with mobile browsers. (Most anyway).

Validating is the same for the majority of browsers.
With the exception of IE6, all browsers are build to the w3 specification, therefore it follows that having a fully validating site will result in the best displays overall |

Yes I agree, I guess I expected validation to not include mobile browsers, but since they do great for me. No more work to get mobile in the future.
