Just a quick note to say that Opera 9.5 has been officially released (sporting a lovely new black theme too) .

Also, Opera Mini 4.1 has been released: direct your mobiles to mini.opera.com for the download.

I've never tried Opera. Is it any good, and is it better than Firefox?

It's different...

I just use it as some of my end users do, so just there for testing really.

Apart from teh mobile version, which I do use, bloody brilliant that is...

I prefer it just because works with all my OCD-ness lol

Also, I do tend to think it's a good bit faster than FF.

I'll stick to firefox purely thanks to firebug and seoquake..

But it seems far quicker than most of my other browsers, and none of my websites seem to be broken by it yet which is always nice (especially after testing IE8 beta and it decimating most sites I look at).

Be interesting to see what Opera does when Firefox Mobile hits full steam.
