converting msaccess > sql

are there any key things I should know?
can I keep the database desgin/data/relationships?
any easy-to-use programs out there?

Hi Spinal...

You will find that MS Access has an 'upsizing' wizard (menu: tools > database utilities).

This should basically walk you through the process of switching to SQL from access.

As far as I am aware, relationships are preserved (if you have defined them)

Yes the upsizing wizard will convert everything for you. You should also note that you may need to change some of your SQL queries, date handling in SQL Server is different.
