Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
Tim's site just won it for me, was a hard choice between that and etoxin, but Tim's just swayed it for me.
I would suggest getting rid of the off putting voice reading out the nav bar choices, but apart from that great site

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
I went for Art Society. I would've gone for Timothy's Site, but I think that maybe he should have completed the site and entered it in another month. I also hate the use of flash for menus. Flash is for presentations, and not for building websites. It's the same thing as sitting on your shiny new processor and using it as a chair. It may look brilliant, wow, but it's not made for that purpose.
Plus, Art Society is a wonderful, striking website, although I do wish that you has fixed those errors Goldy and even waited until next month if you found it difficult to do so.
Ed.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
Can't vote for Tim as he talks about himself in the third person.
Ive gone for UKYIA. Not a great looking site but 8 million out of 10 for the idea.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
www.pryde-design.co.uk has 21 votes? Surely something fishy going on there.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
I don't think that guests should be allowed to vote and therefore that It should have worked but they are allowed to vote are they not so there is nothing unfair about it.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
I can't stand Flash sites, scourge of the internet imo.
I voted for the best out of the 'real' websites that remained.

No good if the flash plugin is out of date or doesn't work. Flash is buggy anyway, I don't trust it.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
Please note.....
Voting has now been restricted to members only. Votes from guests/non members has been removed in the interest of fairness.
The system has always worked this way and our recent upgrade appears to have allowed guests to vote - something that is clearly not wanted for WOTM.

Re: WOTM April Award - Voting
Thanks rob although it probably means that I will no longer win as there are stronger contenders it does make the process more fair.
