WOTM August Voting
Welcome to tonights episode of "WOTM" with your host, CloudedVision.
On tonights show, we will see the hard competition between four web designers as they grapple for the prestigious WOTM award. Let's welcome our contestants!
*applause*
Contestant number 1 is the newly dubbed moderator Janice Ramirez, also known as D3nnis3. She walks in here tonight with the website Dolphin Elite ( http://www.dolphinelite.com/), a beautifully designed website with a nicely drawn dolphin as the cherry on top.
Contestant number 2 we have partyon, submitting Girls Only Forum ( http://www.girlsonlyforum.co.uk/), a very nice website. Although, if you pride yourself in your manliness, don't let your coworkers see you paroozing this one.
Contestant number 3, we have moderator moojoo submitting his personal website Mevans 76 ( http://www.mevans76.com) with some quite interesting content. You might want to check this out, I recall seeing a recipe for some ubertastic chili a while back.
And our final contestant, crackafaza with his blog, Craig Farrall's Blog. ( http://blog.cfdesignz.co.uk) This one has quite the header image, not something that should be brushed aside. It's imaginative navigation and date "clouds" make it a force to be reckoned with.
So, which one will win? It's time to vote! Go to WebForumz and pick one now!
*commercial break*

And Craig, love your site as well but sorry, I can only vote one!
Voting has been opened so let the ball roll!

How do you expect any one to compete against dolphins?

Re: WOTM August Voting
The dolphin site is nice, but it's not valid, and it uses images where it doesn't necessarily have to (i.e the nav).
The modifications page isn't linked too off the homepage, and the forum is just standard.
Cute dolphin mind, off the dolphin cms, however that's not important, i think it's important you use it, carrying over the brand from the cms to the addons your trying to sell.
That's my mini grilling for today [:
I shall have a look at the other before i vote [:
On aesthetics i'm torn between first and fourth, i like the fourth's quirkyness, but feel it needs a little tidying up.
The first is well executed the colours go, the design's sleek, however the picture in the footer bugs me, the bottom of it's cut off because of the height of the footer, and it's background doesn't match the background of the page.
Hmm i think i'll be one of the late voters, but normally one is miles ahead by then =/
Edit, one already is miles ahead
Also only one site validates (it's on xhtml strict, the others are on transitional). >.< See if you can guess which one?

I know I know! unfortunately code is not a factor with voting in these. I wish it were.

Re: WOTM August Voting
Looking at all of them I give my vote to Craig Ferrel's Blog simply because I really like the simplicity of the drawings, nice footer and tag cloud

Re: WOTM August Voting
Baby seals are cuter than dolphins. Actually dolphins are evil creatures.
Proof
