I am new to web development. had idea on html. i was recently assigned with a projet to construct a tool which has two functionalities

To track and enter number of working hours for employees and their related projects

1) search/select employee so that the projects he is involved in and number of working hours he has been allocated should be shown.

In the similar way they can search for projects so that the number of employees who are working on the project and how many hours for the employee

2) Here, when the manager enters with his user ID, we have to display a table which contains information of his team members horizontally and their projects vertically. for example manager X has logged in, he has 3 employees and 2 projects he is dealing with. then the table should contain 6 cells. where he can allocate the number of hours for an employee and this has to be updated in the database. These tables have to be created dynamically depending on the manager who logged in.

for this i have developed the database in SQL SERVER. i need to use web as frontend.but i dont know which technology should be used to do the project. as i am new to here, can you suggest me the easy language/script to learn and do this project. i will be grateful if someone is willing to guide me in this. this is my first project in my job and have to finish in time. i have around 3 weeks. please..please help me

This was all set up by my shopping cart software.
I am trying to use paypal as a form of payment which i have set up fine.

The problem i have is that paypal needs a jpg of my company logo, which has been resized to the correct dimensions.
This is not a problem for me to create.
But paypal will only upload it from a secure site ???
How can i add an area to my site which uses the https and i can put the jpg in.
I have managed to direct it to other images in a https are and it does show them, but they are not resized as they are take from the site design layout.

Does this make any sense ?
Can anyone help ?

Hello i was wondering if there is any way to stop people accessing a pdf file directly but allow them to access it via a link on apache. The reason is i only allow people to view a certain number of pdfs but if they access the pdf directly there visit is not logged in my database as they should go in via another page which logs there visit

I cant deny from all in .htaccess but is there a way you can use .htaccess to allow from a certain referrer or if a post variable is set. If not is there another way?

This is what I want to do: I have many pictures on my site. Just about all of them are taken by me. I DO have a tiny copyright notice on most, and there are notices all over the site.
However, people could copy the pic, and take that copyright notice off with photoshop. Is there a way to put something in the actual code of the picture retroactively that cannot be removed and would remain in the picture code even if it was stolen?
Not sure how photgraphers protect their work without huge SAMPLE written across it.
I WILL try embedding it into my camera for future pics, (the camera already puts in some info) but it is the ones already up on my site that I want to protect as I have a fact that someone has already taken one to use for whatever purpose.
