question for you flash programmers

i was building movies right and left last year, but my current position doesn't really require me to use flash.

i decided to make a marketing piece out of flash and apparently things have changed.

i sorted the fact that it is a pain to test locally.

apparently there are issues just getting the movie to run in explorer. when it loads, your prompted to approve the content or something.

please discuss the issue and let me know the how you guys who build banners or sites for a living are handling this issue.

Re: question for you flash programmers

I never use internet explorer when testing a file locally. I always just open the swf file on my desktop, and test it there. Or I hit Ctrl + Enter within my flash file and test it there. But if I do want to see it in a browser I test it in firefox, until it has been uploaded to the internet. But you can test the flash file within internet explorer you just have to click the stupid yellow bar that appears at the top of the screen and click allow.

Hope this helped, let me know if you have any other questions!!
