Hello all. It's been a while since I was last on. I recently moved and have been involved in other things, like packing, unpacking, getting internet back up, etc..
Anyway, I scoured GOOGLE as well as these forums, and have come up with nothing on the subject, so here it goes.
I would like to put together a menu in Flash for a DVD. I have tried using Nero Vision 4, but that creation is so simple, that it's basically for the inept. I have also tried trial versions of DVDit, which I do like, but the menu-creation aspect doesn't allow as much freedom as I'd like.
I know I can create exactly what I want via Flash. Set up the screen the way I want, make the buttons the exact way I want, everything. Only thing is:
1) What size should I make the stage? I don't want to make it too big or too small. Something with a 3:4 aspect ratio, of course, but I'm not sure the specifics.
2) What would the target button actions be for on(release)? It needs to start up an external file, I think, but I'm not certain if that needs to be keyed into the
SWF file, or if I should just use DVDit to link the image to the movie.
3) Anything else that I am missing.
