Best Web design software

Hi!

Im kind of a newbie on this. I know a little HTML and would like to build pro websites when I reach the expert level. Nevethless I would like to know what is the software that has the best combination of being powerfull ( like for example ecommerce features) very easy or at least easy to use. I know Dreamweaver is probably the choice for most pros but is there something simpler to use yet powerful like it?

thanks!

Re: Best Web design software

I don't think any come with ecommerce features as that's not code editing, that's an entire website project.
Dreamweaver code view is the best for most. Visual Web Developer (free) is best for .NET stuff.

Re: Best Web design software

Notepad++ is very good, and free. It also helps you learn coding quicker

Re: Best Web design software

I use either dreamweaver or Notepad ++

Dreamweaver only using the code view, but can be expensive when starting out, so for the price, I would suggest Notepad ++

Re: Best Web design software

I recommend also psPAD, it's a free HTML editor. If you are going to use PHP, PHP Designer 2007 is the best for you. It's free also a free PHP edior
