hey.
This is ment to be an attractive/minimulisic/fresh website..

Alot of work needs to be done still.. But i cannot see what else to add or improve.
I am still working on a desigj for the search feature as that is the purpose of the website. ( any ideas or examples onthat would be really apretiated because im not sure how to aproch that )

My origonal website sucks it was just thrown together from a scruffy template.

My site started of just the be a white page wththe search feature. I told friends about it and they loved it and it grew popular. Now many friends and famil use it. One person tild me how i could make money with it, via google ads and text adds and anoying popups, so i have decided to make a new fresh look and release it to google =D

Anyway. Here are 2 logos i have created which are far to big for my site, and would like advice if and how i should use them ( if at all ..? ) :
While im here, id like to ask, if my website is legal (lol). I have read up on this alot bcause its my main worry and it seems like it is, because it doesnot contain illegal content, or directly link to any illeyal content. What do you guys think?

Sometimes, simplicity is best

I know what it's like to think; 'It needs more! It's too empty!'. But IMO it's just right, especially for a SE. One thing I would change is make that footer sticky (rest at the bottom of the window).

Those other logos are great! Use one of them instead! Not that the current one is bad, but the new ones look far better.

Regarding legality, so long as your not breaching Google's 'custom search' terms, I can't see an issue with your website.

I like your current logo best, i like the site, and it's idea.

Also i think google do (they did not sure if they still do) a search bar where you can generate money every time someone uses it.

I know there was a site that did that to help raise money for charity.

And another one offers a prize at random like some earphones, or a laptop (the idea is they generate more money than they give away).

I assume google still do that search bar thing... i'll have a look for it later.

You site would be legal, Torrent sites remain legal because they only link to torrent files (legal txt documents) but the documents themselves when loaded into a torrent client give the user access to data (which may not be legal).

However having said that, demonoid was recently taken down, and i think the creaters of The Pirate Bay were facing castodial sentances if they didn't take down the site (the way it's been built makes it impossible to remove).

However with your site, i should imagine the liabilty would fall onto google.

I could ask my mum for you & see what she says (she's a lawyer), but i'll get a lecture which inevetibly will end up at sex discrimination (it always does).

Bocaj : Hey, I heard about the custom google search, but i was not aware that it generates money, and even better if its for charity. The only problem is it is all in ajax. I tried to use there service to make the search feature at first, but did know how to modify it so the user can switch between different categories, like i have done now.. It would be better if i somehow manage to do this, as the search results will apear in my site and not as an external link.

Yes i agree, the other logos are much better, but i found that they ruined the 'brightness' of the site. I will add extra pages to demonstrate the logos in a bit.

Im starting to hate my site =[
I always have problems inserting images and centering them, it just wont work without a div..
I dont know how to make the image bigger so that it goes undertneath the search feature... because like this it looks horrible =P.. could you guys tell me how?

I followed the tut for the sticky footer, but did not work, so im still working on that..
