WOTM Winner April 2008
Please congratulate Timothy and his brilliant site Timothy Clark Portfolio for winning April's Website of the Month Competition.
Once again, we really would like to praise all the other contestants. Please remember that you may not re-enter the same website until August (three months).
I'm sure the contestants as do the staff appreciate all the voters, as without them, there would not be a proper competition.
The badge should be posted up as soon as we receive the correct image file for it.
You may congratulate Timothy below.
Thanks,
Ed

Re: WOTM Winner April 2008
thanks to webforumz and all who voted for me for this great award. it's my first ever and hopefully the first of many. unlucky to all the other contestants.
and btw, is it ok if i just use the shape of the shield on my website? it's just that the badge doesn't really fit well. you know how people with awards display them.

SEO is the least of your worries - what about users with;
- No flash
- Accessibility software (screen readers etc.)
- Non-supporting browsers
?

Re: WOTM Winner April 2008
so you think that all those amazing flash websites out there are no good because 0.000001% of people don't have flash?

Re: WOTM Winner April 2008
No, I didn't say they weren't good - in fact, I agree that there are a lot of amazing ones out there.
But I think 0.000001% is way underestimated. Like I said, it's not only non-flash users but those with disabilites too.
Point being, you can use all the flash you want, but you should provide an accessible alternative.
