and btw, is it ok if i just use the shape of the shield on my website? it's just that the badge doesn't really fit well. you know how people with awards display them.

to be honest i'm not too fussed about seo for my portfolio. my store, however, that i'm constructing is different.

SEO is the least of your worries - what about users with;

1. No flash
2. Accessibility software (screen readers etc.)
3. Non-supporting browsers

No, I didn't say they weren't good - in fact, I agree that there are a lot of amazing ones out there.

But I think 0.000001% is way underestimated. Like I said, it's not only non-flash users but those with disabilites too.

Point being, you can use all the flash you want, but you should provide an accessible alternative.
