IE ok, Firefox no way

One of my users has been telling me about all of the problems he was having with the new rebuild of my site when he used Firefox, so I downloaded it myself to have a look. Oh man, a lot of necessary links and content on some pages and most of the table backgrounds went haywire. I read through a lot of other posts and they all seem to be Firefox=ok, IE=not working. Is there a simple fix now, or something that I need to take into consideration as I develop the 3rd build of the site to correct this problem.

the site is www.saigonesl.com or www.hanoiesl.com (same site) and most importantly the school listings -> District 1 and District 3 have spaced in Firefox.

I've always found it is best to write code to work well in Firefox (all the while previewing your work only in Firefox... or anything but IE), then, when your coding is done, look at it in IE and Google the appropriate fixes for IE, if they're necessary.

I tend to preview in Opera, Firefox and IE throughout the build process of every site I make, this way I know how all three browsers look as the site is built. This is the best way to teach yourself cross-browser compliant code. It was the way I, and most of us, learn.

But I'm using the design view in Dreamweaver to build pretty much everything. I am a hardware and networking guy who is not much of a hand coder. I was a bit surprised that Dreamweaver doesn't have a simple patch that makes the code to work in each browser. The problem may be too big with the site since I don't hand code it.

You can setup dreamweaver to view your work in different browsers, but the problem you have isnt Dreamweavers fault its the browsers.

Just work in Firefox then its most likely to work in every other browser too.

Pressing F12 in Dreamweaver will allow you to preview your work-so-far in a browser (or two, three, etc.) Though, by default, I'm sure IE is the default and by itself.
Press CNTRL+U to pull up your preferences, then choose "Preview in Browser", then add some browsers to your preview area. Of course, you'll have to install other browsers first.
The problems you're likely to run into are the need to change code within the Code View. If you're unable to figure out the "what's" and "where's", ask us, or Google it.
