CMS system suggestions...

Hi Guys,

Bit of an html newbie here.

I'm looking for a REALLY simple CMS.

What I want to be able to do is save the header, side menu and footer of my site as a template into a CMS system. Then what I want to do is to be able to create new pages from my template from within the CMS and enter the content for the new page within a WYSIWYG editor and save the page and for it to be available on my site straight away.

Basically only really basic/simple CMS functionality.

I want to avoid the need to have to edit html manually once the template has been inserted into the CMS.

Can anyone suggest such a CMS?

I have looked at typo3 but found this far far too complicated.

Thanks in advance.

Re: CMS system suggestions...

Joomla (as mentioned already)
WordPress - is fast becoming a nice system to use for CMS (not just for blogging anymore)

Those are likely the only ones I know of and would recommend for your situation.

Wordpress is probably the easiest one to use IMO!

There's also Moveable Type and Textpattern
