Rollover and disjointed rollover on same items?
this is complicated to explain, i appreciate your patience in advance.
First i have 6 buttons, lets say they are 50px height for ease.
i will have an image of three buttons for every button so when its hovered it goes up or down by 50px showing a different button, and when its on that page it will show the other button which won't change.
The other 5 buttons which are still active however i want them to change the header picture depending on which button you hover over. so if i hovered over the about us page the page would show a picture of me (random).
Is this possible using css?
cheers jimi

This thread made me lol.
Are you on about the the picture itself being random or you want a random result each time you hover on something?

ha! I just thought you meant a random picture (like 5 pics and a random one each time page loads)
never mind

Re: Rollover and disjointed rollover on same items?
naa know how to do that. i meant because im having a rollover on my buttons could i also have a rollover on the image above it, so when i hover over the button. the button changes, and it also changes the image.
check it out so far at http://www.wasteofinc.co.uk/jimi/jpr
but when i hover over a button i want the image above to change.
Not sure if it was possible, and the link karinne gave me wasn't that helpful after i looked at it lol (sorry karinne )

Re: Rollover and disjointed rollover on same items?
In the navigation?
also could you explain this to me:
Code:
<dl class>
<dt id="contact"><a href="#">Contact</a></dt>
<dt id="sponsors"><a href="#">Sponsors</a></dt>
<dt id="league"><a href="#">League</a></dt>
<dt id="results"><a href="#">Results</a></dt>
<dt id="profile"><a href="#">Profile</a></dt>
<dt id="home"><a href="#">Home</a></dt>
</dl>
Why isn't ul and li tags?

Re: Rollover and disjointed rollover on same items?
it holds there places, i can't explain really, if you look at the navigation bit of my css you can work it out for yourself. the buttons are images not text.
