I am making a dress-up site, and was wondering what I should use to create a website like www.divachix.com or www.stardoll.com or millsberry.com.

The idea I want to copy is the one where you shop for clothes in a virtual shop, and then you can equip them onto a doll that is in flash. I do not have a clue how to do this. Can anyone help me please??

You go to a virtual shop

That is the shop.



Then I click on an item and I can preview it on the doll.

Then I purchase one...



I then go to my wardrobe and equip items.

I would like to know how this is done?

Do I have to create some sort of database or something??

this'll be a lot more complex than just javascript. You'll need a sound knowledge of PHP to do this, as well as some pretty tricky javascript scripts.
