Can someone help me with this e-mail form???

ok, so i made a website for my neighbor. i'm fair with javascript. the website is http://www.laketalquinfishing.com/ in the Contact Us page i don't know how to make the form work. I can get the text boxes there, but i can't seem to get it to send the form to the e-mail address.

Also idk if anyone knows this but how do you get your website to show up in google? i put the META tags in but it still doesn't find it??

If anyone could help me i would be very, very, very grateful!

Thanks in advanced for evening trying!!! = )

Re: Can someone help me with this e-mail form???

When you press 'Send Message', I get a page not found 404 error.

The page it is trying to find is the page you have in your form's action attribute, 'contact.asp'.

It is in this page that the scripting should exist as to where to email the form's content.

BTW. Left-hand menu looks awful. Page not correctly coded. And please, please don't use frames. It's just one of the reasons that you will have trouble with search engines. The other main one is lack of any reasonable content. Content is 'king' with search engine these days. Keyword meta tags ignored by Google.

Well i haven't even known HTML for 6 months now and have already helped to create the best website in the state ( http://www.octavewebdesign.com/tsa/index.html ) That's the reason I'm using frames and also i was doing this website for free and don't own any of the Macromedia Suite (Dreamweaver). I just need help from someone to help me to get the information filled in the blanks to go to the e-mail address.

I don't use Dreamweaver either. It's not a reason for using frames.

Re: Can someone help me with this e-mail form???

No, I'm not joking. I'm 14. Give me a break we won out of all high school aged students in Florida. We didn't compete with people that professionally build websites.

Only knowing HTML IS a reason to use frames.

And it doesn't have many things wrong with it.

I was asking for some help with a form not for barrage of hate messages. So just STFU and back off.

It's not to my taste at all but then I'm not into these type of sites.

On a completely independant point, the site fales W3C valdation, 119 errors.
http://validator.w3.org/

It also fails the US 508 accessibility testing.
