I'm a codemonkey with a background in all kinds of languages but lately I've been messing around with Ruby and Ruby on Rails. I'm not going to say how much better it is, you get enough of that all over the internet, but I am going to praise some of the Rails framework features. I like the MVC structure which is automatically generated and the Rails console as well as the scaffolding feature. It's hard to believe that you can eliminate
SQL short of creating the database.
I've just started a
RoR site (actually running on rails)
It's hard to believe how many sites praise
RoR, give example code, give details, demonstrations, etc..., etc... and that site uses
php/
html it's funny!!
Here is my link:
http://rubyshack.com/
I wanted to know if there are others here developing w/
RoR.
If so, do you have available links. (actually running on rails)
