Smile Building trust and increasing sales help

Hi Everyone,

I have a online florist shop Perth Florist - For fresh beautiful flower deliveries in Western Australia and was thinking of letting people know we only sell high quality fresh flowers. I was thinking maybe to give people peace of mind by offering a "Fresh or there free" offer or guarantee.
We have testimonials from past clients so maybe i should place more of them on the site. Im just hoping you guys could give me some ideas as we really want to increase sales and let people know we are very good at our job and dont send stale flowers to their loved ones.

Not sure where i should place the text with the offer either. Probably at the top of the page i guess. Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Re: Building trust and increasing sales help

have you tried looking at how your competition, particularly the bigger companies deal with building their reputation, ie what guarantees they offer etc what methods of advertising they use and what products they offer?

Some of them use a guarantee of 5 days fresh flowers or your money back which might be ok. Or some use satisfaction guarantee 100% or your money back.
Just not sure what would be the best to use.

Thanks Bonnit for your input though.

Re: Building trust and increasing sales help

thats ok, i probably wont be a massive help because this isnt my forte as such.

ive done a couple of marketing jobs in the past where they had a sales follow up, ie any of the clients sold to is picked at random for a sales assessment and satisfaction survey, it was always optionl but it seemed to get a good response because it wasnt someone trying to sell something it was just a sales follow up - this may be something you would like to incorporate to ensure you are providing a correct service for current demand and keep your marketing details up to date too.

with the satusfaction gurantee you have to beware of people taking the p*ss because you will always get at least one, so ensure you work out your costs of providing this gurantee before offering too!

Re: Building trust and increasing sales help

Thanks again Bonnit. Difficult to stand out from the crowd these days. I guess people really expect to have fresh flowers anyway so thats probably not the right angle after all. Surveying is a good idea though, so I might try that.

Thanks again
