Good Afternoon,

Could anyone please tell me if a sites outbound links affect their PR? For example, if a site has more outbound links than inbound - will this have a detrimental effect?

I provide links to several pages that don't return them to me, they have a use for the customer (only slight) and I'm thinking of scrapping them unless I'm sure they cause no harm.

Yes. It doesn't really matter who links to you, but you must be very careful with who you link to. A link is a vote of confidence, and you don't want to promote sites of poor quality or no content...

Yes, they do! I would suggest you to link anyone based on content relevancy and not to exchange links.
