Do outdated links hurt me?
Someone else owned my domain before me. As a result, there are about 120 or more links from an old archive of a web forum. The links are broken because I don't have a matching page on my site. Will this hurt me? I am trying to get my page rank up... it's 0 right now. I don't think the domain has been penalized. I have not found anything negative reported about it.

I am concentrating on obtaining high quality links. But these outdated ones have me concerned because I would have thought, with 140 total links, it would help, but it's not. Is it hurting and how do I fix the problem?
