VISTA... and lovin it
A couple months ago I got a copy of Vista Business cheap from school, and I finally got around to installing in on my Asus notebook. As far as graphics and user-interface, I'm luvin it!!! The "confirm every action at least once" feature is a bit annoying but otherwise I'm really happy with it.
I'm sure other folks also have their opinions, so bring em on.

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
You are the first person I have seen that has said something good about VISTA. Alot of people think XP is better, and I would agree with them.

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
I honestly haven't got a problem with Vista, it's Vista that doesn't like me. Maybe it's because I'm sleeping with the enemy? Hmmm...

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
Vista? BLEGH. Alright, I have the RIGHT to say that. I've messed with it. Sure, the graphical interface is nicer than XP's and it's a tad faster, but it's a complete waste of money. It also bugs me that it rips off other OS's, but thats nothing new with any OS...so....And I just don't like Microsoft, the only good thing they've done is pull a few good games out on to the market.

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
Well I guess I will put my opinion in here. I hate Microsoft and will never buy another Windows computer as long as I live. I love Mac OSX and will never change. What do I have to say about Vista?

I think that says everything!

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
Yeah... Vista has a DOCK. It's really just a shoddy rip-off of OS X Tiger.

I love my Mac Book Pro, the only thing that is missing is a name. I should name my laptop, hmmmm, let's see...man this is hard. Any ideas?

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
I didn't get on with Vista, I ended up switching back to Media Centre. It seems very padded out with extras that really are not needed. Not worth £70 ($140 OEM edition) at the moment in my opinion, still very glitchy and not that compatible with about 70% of the software I use.

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
I mostly use my notebook for web design and note-taking in school and in these areas it works just like XP, just faster, and looks better. I also didn't pay much for it, cuz it wuz from school so maybe that's why I still continue to like it. (or maybe the German version is better )

Re: VISTA... and lovin it
Heh, ive got every edition of vista and i have read all these bad stories about is and so that is why i have not tried it. I might try it now but i really dont see the point because XP is doing the job with all the programs i need and use. Also i dont know if Dreamweaver will work on Vista.
