Well, we could always ask 29FIVEDesign. They are active members of that other forum.

Re: webdesign- vs. graphic design-forum..
I don't believe thay had the best of experiences here at Webforumz. But I do believe that webforumz is the exception, web designers can be a bit uptight in my experience and web design forums can be a bit tense at times.

Those are usually ones who don't think they have anything else to learn about webdesign and all its various parts and practices. I think for the most part, members of Webforumz have left their ego's at the door. They like to help others learn because its fun and in some cases I am sure they have also learned a thing or two themselves. Think of the times some one has said do it this way and someone else comes back with that will work but try this way...open honest communication with everyone able to get something from the posts.

So was this a member of Webforumz or something? I never read that bit? Just someone that needs to join Webforumz and get to know our wonderful community...right?

Yes, I read that. But from what was said above I was under the impression that she was at one time a member of Webforumz. I was thinking...No way! We have a great community...lol.

Coding is fun.
Creating graphics, isn't.

Re: webdesign- vs. graphic design-forum..
I'm a fan of coding as well, but I get along with graphic design quite nicely, too. Mostly, I think we just get annoyed at the inexperienced coders continually ignoring solid advice from people that are more skilled in the area.

PHP-wannabee: "Hmm.. My PHP doesn't work, let's ask"
Ryan: "because (fill in the blanks)..."
PHP-wannabee: "But, isn't it..."
Ryan: "No, it's not"
PHP-wannabee: "Are you sure?"
Ryan: "*sigh*"
I know what you mean
