How embarrassing!
It was sports day at my kids school today, so of course I had to enter the parents race. I literally ran two steps, slipped on the wet grass and fell flat on my face in front of the whole school of kids and all the parents and teachers! I think my kids were more embarrassed than I was, haha!
Just needed to share. Anyone else done anything embarrassing recently or am I the only one that does things like that?

Re: How embarrassing!
I embarrass myself the whole time when I talk German cuz, although I am German, I mostly grew up in England and America and just recently moved back to German. The last time I had talked German was when I was four years and, believe me, it is sometimes very humorous to hear a nineteen year old guy talking German like a four-year-old.

Re: How embarrassing!
One too many wines before the race was it?
I fell down a flight of stairs at the Crown Court 2 weeks ago while having a conversation with a client.. That was rather embarassing... what made it worse was my natural instinct was to stand up and brush myself off and say "I meant to do that" then wink at a crowd and walked off as if nothing happened

Re: How embarrassing!
Sunday I was out riding a horse with friends in the woods and a really thick dead branch was sticking out and my horse decided to go under it. No problem, I duck all the time but this time the stick got caught on my shirt by my neck, the branch went under my chin strap on my helmet and pushed me right off the back of the horse onto the ground. The stupid branch would not break! My girlfriends giggled for about 30 minutes!

Re: How embarrassing!
Haha, thanks for sharing all of your embarrassing stories! But I think I got one that owns them all! This was 5 years ago, but it actually just got funny to me now. I was in high school and I saw my girl, I puff up my chest and strut my stuff over there, Lean back on the lockers and say "Hey baby!" She looks at me like I'm stupid and says "Hey" I then go for a spinning arm hug and get my pants caught on the locker nob (part where the lock goes on) and sure enough splits both my pants and my boxers square in two.
Got a good laugh from her and my best friend (who was a GIRL) had to drive me home so I could change, lol. Oh, and what makes it funny is one of the girls who saw it asked me out the next day! lol

Re: How embarrassing!
Ok, Jacob, love the support.
I was with the new wifee in Bali walking along the pavement (side walk) chatting and noticed I was on my own. She had walked around a bit of wood on the pavement (side walk). The only thing was that bit of wood was the bridge across a huge hole in the pavement. We fished her out of the sewer pipe that ran below

Re: How embarrassing!
Haha! I am glad I'm not the only one! I just remembered another one from a couple of years ago, I went to use a public loo in a shop, and it was one of those that just has one cubicle which is for men or women. Anyway I was in there...doing what you do in there, and I obviously hadn't locked the door properly because a man just walked in. He just stared at me shocked for a few moments and then said "Oh I'm so sorry", and what did I say? "That's ok" (that's ok?!).

Re: How embarrassing!
I had a meeting with a client at my offices about a month ago, and while talking to him about his new website, I accidently threw my cup of coffee against the wall! I was trying to just be expressive. Anyway, cleaned it up ok, and the client just laughed.

Re: How embarrassing!
Imagine how a communication consultant feels when she forgets what a telephone is? One of my clients keeps reminding me when they need to make changes...Sara, give us a call on that "talk into thingy". They will not let me forget our 1st meeting. curse them.....
