has anyone got any recomondations of email management software (preferably open source / cheap) that is good reliable and can easily be embedded into a website?

the one i'm using just now is dada, which is ok, not great but is adequete. Does anyone else have any recommondations??

SquirrelMail is an open source email management program.

You could also try Google Apps - you get Gmail + Google App features for your domain.

I like Google email. It's free as well, but I am not big on SquirrelMail, mainly because it is not to graphical. But it is alright.

The mailing list package we use is PHPList, which I found quite intuitive and managable. It's Open source, which is always kind on the pocket

ok thanks for the advice. I will have a look into those suggestions.

The squirrel mail one may be a problem if it is not graphical, as I'm developing an admin section for a website and they need to fire off emails whenever they like, with nice templates, whilst also being easy to use.

But i'll keep exploring
