I was on the way home and...
I was driving home from camping with a small trailer on the back. We got 40 miles down the road and the bloody offside trailer wheel blow out. So the is robber all over the road.
I smash my way in the the hard shoulder. I walk a 1/4 of a mile to the orange phone box to find, yes it does not work great.
The i phone the RAC to find out they think i don't have member ship. And will only take me 10 miles.
A mate comes and we spend 45 mins putting the trailer on there trailer.
Then after setting off there accident 10 miles down the road on the M4. So a 5 hour trip turned in to a ...... 13 hour trip.

Re: I was on the way home and...
unlucky. I had a bad day yesterday too, my very expensive xbox 360 decided to have the "red rings of death" which is sort of like window's blue screen of death.

Hope you are not getting to wet, Simonb. I hear parts of the UK are turning into swimming pools. Hope you are not in one of those areas.

I was wondering how long until someone notice that typo.
Simon what a fun trip you had! Did you enjoy the camping though?

Re: I was on the way home and...
Living in the north west does have something going for it. They haven't built houses on flood plains here.
Its been pretty grim this past month or so, and they still insist that it's summer. Idiots.
Pete.

Re: I was on the way home and...
The way things are going we will have to take care not to drive onto a sub-standard bridge in case it collapses. Or, with the recent floods, we might come around a corner and find ourselves up to the roof in a swollen river. By the way did anybody suffer downtime when Fasthosts went off during the flooding?
