Wooh it's released! Looks great!
Can you still show the number of rep points though?
Not just the pictures? I like to keep track.

I think i will get used to it.
It is like when i moved to vista it looked good but hard to use. Give it a week or 2 and i will be able to navigate it .

I found it quite hard to get used to at first. But there's some cool new stuff which I find handy, "unanswered posts" being on of them and "mark forums read" another useful one

I dont think rep points value is important.
We deciced a visual representation was adequate.

The newsletter will eventually be moved into a style very similar to the forums and I am hoping they will all share a 'similar' header to aid continuity in navigation.
We may have to wait a little while for that. We are waiting on any fallout from the new design (bugs we may have missed, etc) to come to light before starting on anything else.

I like the "page info" effect but it seems a little jumpy in FF.

Re: Webforumz Reloaded - Give us your feedback!
sorry, but i am not too keen on it, its a nice design, but with a flaw, even though forums with new posts will be highlighted in bold, you cannot see what the last post was and wether someone else has answered, also if someone has answered you...
meaning that you have to keep entering into forums to check - i will personally get very fed up with that very quickly.

Try using the 'New Posts' option rather than going into each forum to check then you can easily pick out the threads that you have posted in to see if someone has replied.

Re: Webforumz Reloaded - Give us your feedback!
just to re-iterate what Vanessa said really.
By far the best way to track all threads you have had involvement with has not changed. In your userCP options, set your subscription level to 'no emails'. That way you are automatically subscribed to each thread (with no email notification), and you can track all of your own threads very very easily from your 'my subscriptions' area in your UserCP.

If you are subscribed 'with email notification' or 'without email notification' it's the same thing.... you can still track all your threads in the 'list subscriptions' part of your UserCP.

Re: Webforumz Reloaded - Give us your feedback!
please forgive me for this but...
i have 3 options ??
so i have to either put up with clogging my email with all the threads i have replied to or created
or i have to click 'new posts' every now and again to see if i have been replied to ??
or i have to check on the left ?
i honestly dont like the Featured Forum Discussions, it makes the site navigation a little harder to swallow, its too big and it is very distracting
i am sorry but if i am going to give feedback i am not going to say i love it if i dont...
i think the best option is to leave the old template as an extra in the u.c.p and give people the choice

Re: Webforumz Reloaded - Give us your feedback!
Who said anything about emails clogging your inbox?
I suggested the subscription setting 'no email notification'
Well Saltedm8, obviously we appreciate your feedback. The best system for tracking your own posts is, and has always been via subscriptions. This is the case on any large forum.
With one click onto your 'list subscriptions page' you can see all activity in all threads you have participated in.
Having to click onto the homepage, then on an individual forum and look down the list is not and never was the best way of tracking your posts. Imagine you have several posts in multiple forums.
We asked all of our visitors how they browse these forums. The overwhelming majority of users use the 'new posts' and the subscription method of tracking their posts.
We've had enough suggestions over the years about our homepage being too cluttered also...
All we have done is re-designed the site to fit in with the way the majority of users navigate the site. We've designed for the majority which is the most sensible thing to do.
Whilst we cant please everyone, we can of course take on board your feedback and point you in directions to make the most out of your experience here. There are so many shortcuts and hidden treasures on webforumz to make site use easy and we'll gladly help you until you are familiar with them.
Thanks again for your feedback.
