Re: best free internet security/anti virus?

You can find many free antivirus out there 3A's (Avira, Avast, Avg) the best one so far in my opinion and some other IT megazine.

For Internet Security, there is no free version, only a trial version.
I am using ZoneAlarm Security Suite (Antivirus + Firewall + Internet Security)

Thay are alse free ZoneAlarm Antivirus and Firewall. You might check that out

NOT! I had AVG installed. Then, I dumped that, installed Avira and it found 3 viruses. I promptly reinstalled my whole computer....

Do you have the virus definition up to date?
Can we use both at the same time?

Re: best free internet security/anti virus?

I think i will go for the AVG anti virus and the Zone Alarm free firewall, this seems the best choice. I need to get my dad to hurry up and get the new Norton

Yeh a lot of people have said that, is it that bad, or has it just got a few annoying things wrong with it?

Re: best free internet security/anti virus?

Some of my experienced friend told me that norton is quiet heavy (in term of your memory RAM resources)! Program/Application like AVG, Avast are quiet lite.

Re: best free internet security/anti virus?

Alright, free protection...sure there is such a thing.

AVG Free - Is a great FREE antivirus application, I like it a lot.
Zonealarm - Zonealarm offers a free triple layer firewall, if you can find the link to it on their website...haha.

Re: best free internet security/anti virus?

I have got what Jacob said, AVG is a great anti virus, and zone alarm seems to be a good firewall

Does anyone recon that i should get the AVG spyware thing, or is that a waste of time??

For spyware, you could use Spybot Search and Destroy, it's free by the way, and yet a power full tool too...
