Re: PR updated
Excuse my ignorance, but is a lower number better or worse?

Re: PR updated
10 is best
0 means its rubbish and need more back links ( as rob would say)
And No PageRank Information available | Means google has not rated it
Only top sites like google.com have PR 10

Re: PR updated
3 is a relatively good rank mate.
How long's the site been up?

Re: PR updated
There haven't been many changes for websites with PR 0-3.
But many websites with PR 4-6 have gone down by one or 2 points.
0-10 is not a permanent score, PR in an exponential factor of a much larger number.
IQ tests are re-adjusted every so often so that it covers the entire range of the population.
100 is always arranged to be the 'mode' (most common) IQ, with all scores ranging from 65 to 135.
Like-wise, Google will update its PR rules to reflect the entire range of websites out there.
The distribution isn't quite the same, but it is still exponential and the true meaning behind each score 0-10 is updated accordingly in order to cover the entire range of websites...
I'm not so good at explaining these things, but for all those interested, I really recommend you take a look at this:

Re: PR updated
I just thought since we were talking about PageRank I would point out that I have a great extension for firefox that points out the page rank of the site you are currently on. See the attached screen shot for the page rank example. Also, the one next to it is nice too. It shows you the IP of the site you are on.
If you are interested I will see if I can dig them up on the extensions site again.

Re: PR updated
Hey Jacob, Why not just use the Google toolbar PR thingy? Surely this doesn't require yet another extension...

Re: PR updated
PS.: I forgot to say in my earlier post, after rumbling on for ages, that, the reason why many PR 4-6 websites have lost 1-2 PR points was in fact due to a re-adjustment in the distribution, as I so awkwardly explained...
