Re: Firefox and start menu

You'll have to remove the settings by hand. Which OS are you using?

Re: Firefox and start menu

Right one thing at a time.

Firefox - when you have uninstalled it, it may ask you whether to keep preferences, make sure you uncheck this option. Also look for any mozilla/firefox folders in program files, delete these after the uninstall.

Start menu - not sure about files but it should do programs automatically, the most recently clicked on at the top. if you use shortcuts from you desktop or another shortcut this does not put it near the top of the list if you get what i mean.

WLM - is it the newest version you are trying to install. make sure you get rid of any older versions or any old folders.

Doing a disk defrag and a spyware scan can also be helpful for a lot of programs.

Craig

Re: Firefox and start menu

To manually remove all your FF settings, make sure FF is uninstalled then go to;

drive:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Mozilla and delete the Firefox folder (where drive is the location of your Windows installation, and user is the name of your user account)
