Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
I believe you can have your msn messenger running locally, then you could have online messenger running, and then you could sign up for something like meebo, as a third.
You could possibly use different browsers, IE & FF for instance, to open up even more sessions of these two online versions.

You can use Trillian or Pidgin.

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
Miranda with the Multiple Accounts plugin lets you run as many accounts as you want...

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
I use pidgin, and i have 4 or 5 running at once.
You can use your own email addresses as long as you link it to a net passport.
Pidgin's very basic, Trillian can be a bit cluttered in my opinion, but it's good.
Alot of other clients allow tabbed converstaions.
MSN can be a bit resource hungry (compared to the others) how does multiple accounts effect this? (removing advertising would probably reduce the resources used significantly).
There are plugins (or mods) for live, but there generally easier and better supported on other clients (however other clients generally lack features, perhaps with the exception of trillian)

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
I use to run a company account and a personal account. But i know what you mean does make you think why you would need to run so many accounts

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
I segregate my different accounts, so i have like college tutors/friends, then i have work contacts, personal contacts and then people i may potentially work with.
It's just so i can sign in to just the ones i need without being bombarded. Or if i'm avoiding someone i don't have to avoid everyone [:

I guess, you're having an affair? lmao! kidding..

I use two MSN accounts as well, using meebo and the one installed at my desktop. The one is for my clients and the other one is for personal use.

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
Adium X for Mac Trillian for windows. Personally I use Adium for MSN, AIM, Yahoo, GoogleTalk, and in some services have multiple accounts for work/play. So many people are on so many different services you kind of need this multi service app solution.

Agreed, From what i know over here, MSN is pretty much dominant, but i know from making friends abroad that msn is far less dominant overseas.
However just wondering... are there any with integrated skype support? (or is that asking too much )

Re: 2 MSN's running at the same time.
There is a patch for messenger which allows 'polygamy' which is what you are after it is on the www.mess.be site and called messenger patch. It also has plenty of other cool features and tweaks like removal of the banner ad at the bottom of messenger. You should check it out, its my own personal preference and alternative to msgplus
