Help! Am new to this

I have my pages in dreamweaver and have ftp'd them to my hosting site (1and1.co.uk) but nothing is appearing and it comes up with error404 all the time. I have tried 3 different methods of upload but nothing is working (even though the first time it did work if I typed in the full address of the other pages)

Thanks to anyone who can help a novice!

sometimes they need to be uploaded into certain directories (Definable in the Manage Sites area of Dreamweaver). For example, this directory is common: public_html/

Check with 1and1, they'll be able to tell you.

my bad. TheBallerina so is your problem still there? If so then it's like herkalees said- your page is probbably in the wrong place, some hosts use html_public or public_html, also sometimes www folders where users can place their files, the reason that is done is because there are other folders like private_html where files are kept out of the publics reach for security reason.
