CSS Image Gallary?
Im looking to create an image gallary, where the main image is displayed, and below it Thumbnails of all the other images in the category.
When someone clicks on one of the thumbnails id like the main picture to be replaced with it.... nice and smoothly. Ive seen this done with flash, and it looks great, but for the purpose of this site id like to acheive it in CSS if possible. Does anyone have any idea how this would work? ..... at the moment im thinking of using the filmstrip trick, but on a much larger scale. Any thoughts ........ Apart from chocolate related ones (Dan !!)

This would require a small bit of JavaScript. CSS wouldn't play any (or much) part in it.

Yeah, i figured that would be the answer.... i was hopin you could use css rollovers to get the same effect

I think I did see a tutorial once doing this with just css, ill have a look see if i can find it

That looks like just what im after...... hopefully it'll be possible to make it pull the pictures from a database
 .... i hope lol

looking at the source i think it should be possible.... ill have to play because im not sure how well it will be supported..... a simplified version may work thoguh
