Re: Cross Browser/Platform testing

I think the money would be best spent to hire Pinkertons to seek out and destroy all Mac computers! LOL!

Mac lovers are their your own destruction. They claim not to have any issues with spyware and viruses, but that'll change as it gets more mainstream. It's just so pointless for the hacks to bother right now because the Macs represent so little potential.

Re: Cross Browser/Platform testing

Little potential would be incorrect. Their potential is and will be far more than anything running windows. However I believe what you meant was fewer numbers. And just an FYI running windows a Mac is just as vulnerable as a normal windows box although windows on my Macbook Pro seems to run better than any other "PC" I ever used running windows. So eh...

Hey, if it means Apple gets shoved in the hacker's spotlight because of rising sales, I say bring it on! I've got 500 shares of Apple stock. I'll have my own mansion if Apple becomes that popular

Re: Cross Browser/Platform testing

Yes, I meant so little potential for spreading the virus around due to the number of users. But that's all starting to change now. They will eventually have all the same issues.

Well, Virii, Trojans and Spyware are far from the top on the list of reasons why I choose Mac.

That and OS X Already has pretty damn good security such as no app will run first time without permission from the user and it presents you with a dialog to this effect saying something like "This is the first time the app <appname> is being launched. Launch <app name>?"

Yeah! Mreine, I'm sure you know that lack of malware isn't the only difference between Tiger and XP.

Re: Cross Browser/Platform testing

I always get so annoyed when I hit the down/up arrow and it doesn't move the carat to the beginning or end of a text input in Windows
