Html/css issues...

Hi all, first post so go easy on me..

I have built a site for work

http://www.rpg-europe.co.uk/Products...orfrg/omni.htm this is a sample page

i really want to use a different look and feel so played with mambo but for the amount of data to enter and the way i want it to look mambo is a bit too complicated, so i saved this page

http://www.rpg-europe.co.uk/index.ph...ask=view&id=16

i can recreate this page in html using the css that was saved by IE with no problem, but how can i make the top link pages look like it, ive tried adding the css via dreamweaver but it no worky, would i be right in saying that i need to remove the font and colour etc tags from the html and leave the new link to css in the head? How easy is this to do and can anyone tell me a quickway? I have MANY pages to do and not really lots of time, Mambo would be great to use but the formating in htmlarea3 is really bad for me and it takes ages to get it right

One very useful feature of Dreamweaver is that it can search and replace tags in an entire document or even an entire directory of documents.

Unfortunately I can't think of a way to use CSS without removing things like font tags as, even if you specify css, the font tags override it when the page is displayed.

One bad feature of Dreamweaver (in my opinon) is the css support... I just don't like it and I don't think it's anywhere near as useful as it could be. I would suggest you do any CSS by hand.

ok thanks, i will see what i can do...as you say, the remove tags function could prove to be the deciding thing here, nothing to do but try!
