hi, could someone please have a look at the html and css at this address....
http://www.design365.co.uk/sef/test.htm basically ive started a container <div> starting immdeiately after the orange line and a 'flash' <div> inside it which is basically a black rectangle for now. the container div is centralised using 'margin: 0 auto;' my layout looks fine in FF but not in IE because the 'flash' div is going left for some reason, ive ran out of things to try Thankyou |

Change your doctype to this strict doctype

I always use a strict doctype when coding so when I copied your code and it worked ... I commented the strict doctype and added the transitional and it didn't
