Hy i need to change the boring look on my site template.I have downloaded a DHTML software but don`t know where to place the code.

I think you are going to have to be a bit more specific about what you are trying to achieve.

Is what you have downloaded a dynamic menu system?

If you care about your search engine rankings, it is a good idea to stay away from those DHTML menu software. They use very heavy javascript codes that hide all the internal pages from search engine spiders. It is best to use css-based menus. Google it and you can find plenty. They are easy to use and implement. Very search engine friendly.

http://www.dynamicdrive.com is good I believe they have CSS and DHTML menus and tell you how to install them.

weird is right, dynamic drive is very good but learning css and using that for your menus is far better:
-its better SEO-wise
-its easier to create and impement
-easier to manage
