Re: Using wordpress

Are you asking about creating a custom wordpress theme? I'm a little confused as to what you're asking.

Re: Using wordpress

There is a tutorial on the WordPress site explaining how to do this yourself. I know, I've just done it.

Re: Using wordpress

I found creating a custom theme in wordpress for the first time a real pain. The way they split everything up into sections and then put them back together with php. I know the whole thing is designed so it's bit easier to play around with but I didn't find it all that intuitive. You can get great results though. Just a case of messing around with it and geting used to the way it works. Great blog engine though - very usable, very powerful.

If you want someone to do it for you I would imagine you'd have to pay them. It takes time which most people don't have a lot of. I wish they'd add another 10 hours to each day - that'd sort me out.

Anyway it's a good opportunity to get to grips with making your own themes it's a good skill to have. Check the support/documentation sections on the wordpress.org site they have a great support network. The message boards are good too if you get stuck.

Best,

Pete.
