N00b Trying To Learn Some Tricks

Hi. I'm brand new to web design. The extent of my knowledge is just some basic html. Lately I've become much more interested in web design and have started looking through the source code on sites that I like trying to learn some tricks.

I am hoping someone could shed some light on this site for me. http://www.reallywildflowers.co.uk/index/

What I'm most interested in is the header/banner image. (http://www.reallywildflowers.co.uk/_...mg/header1.jpg)

The image is 2000 pixels wide, but it shows up centered neatly no matter what browser or resolution is used. And the source code isn't helping me. As a n00b I assume this is accomplished in CSS, but I'm just guessing.

Anyway...any help would be appreciated.

You were right it is the css. Here's the code for that header

Thanks Lchad. I'm working on an XHTML tutorial now...and after that I'll try one on CSS. Hopefully the code will make sense to me after that.
