Thumbs up positioning text freely

I am having trouble with positioning.

One complicating factor is that I have two background images and I'm not sure how to place one image on top of the other.

I would like my name, that you see at top, to be just above and on the right of the yellow box.

Should I be looking into layers?

Thanks

Re: positioning text freely

Ok,

Here's some code for you...

CSS - save this as "main.css"
Code:
* {
  margin: 0;
  padding: 0;
}

body {
  background-image: url(pat.gif);
}

div#wrapper {
  background-image: url(page.jpg);
  margin: 0 auto; /*CENTERS IMAGE*/
}
HTML
HTML Code:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

<html lang="en">

<head>
<link rel="StyleSheet" href="main.css" type="text/css" />
</head>

<body>
</body>

</html>
Hopefully that works.
As far as the text, just go into your picture editing program and type it in on top of the picture. It's the easier option.

Re: positioning text freely

Thanks,
I think I'm starting on the right foot now.

However the page.jpg file is not showing up. I have it saved in the same folder as everything else.
