PC Configurator

I am pretty new to website design. I have set up a website for building custom gaming computers. What I want to add to the site is a PC Configurator, much like the ones seen at such sites like Ibuypower or Dell. I am wondering if there is any sort of app that sets this up for you, ie: you enter all the parts, prices, etc... and it creates the layout for you. I have no idea where to begin with writing the code for this.

Thanks!

Re: PC Configurator

I don't know if theres one available, you could check some various resource sites such as hotscripts.com etc.

You'd need php at the bare minimum, ajax would be useful and some sort of database (mysql).

I've never come accross a script that does this, but i know what you mean.

Maybe someone else has a pointer in which direction to head

Re: PC Configurator

Theres one available here.

Its a bit pricey at $130, If you have the time it might be a challenge to build this yourself.

Re: PC Configurator

That is a bit pricey, but seems to be what I need. Unfortunately, I don't have the faintest idea how to build something like that.

Does anyone know if there is anything free that can do simpler configurators, like seen here?

I don't need it to have drop down menus, just a couple choices for parts, and have it update a total at the end. And some way to make a paypal invoice, or even just sent to me to review. I could manually send a Paypal invoice.
