job

Hello I have been self taught in web design for 8 months or so and have created my first site for a small business www.premierefencing.co.uk I am wondering if anyone has any advice on what direction I should take. As I dont have any formal qualifications as such. Or is there anyone out there looking for a relatively cheap web service as I am just starting out, please contact me.

Hiya Parkerlj,

I really like your flash animation and would love to know how you did it. However your code is something else. You need to learn CSS. Thats all I can really recormend tbh.

Good luck,
Jj

Re: job

I would have to agree. You really will need to learn Valid XHTML with Valid CSS.

Whilst all of your competition is putting together table-less designs I dont think you can afford not to learn this if you want to have a future in web design. Looking at your work, you most definitly should stay in the game, but work on producing valid, tableless and accessible XHTML.
