Re: How easy/hard?...

Well, the entire site is Flash, so function-wise you won't be able to achieve the same thing in Dreamweaver.

Getting the same style is not so hard, and I can't see why you couldn't achieve this in Dreamweaver, or even better, hand code it!

Re: How easy/hard?...

To create a site that looks similar, using HTML, CSS and a little bit of JAVASCRIPT is possible.
If you know what you are doing it's even not too hard.
However if you don't, it's near to impossible.

I would need a few more specs to decide if I want to take on a project like this.

Re: How easy/hard?...

With regrds to the fading in look up the css style "opacity" you can script it to change over time. This works in FF. IE6 uses filter:alpha(x) where x is a number between 0 and 100. Not sure about IE7 or IE8. Does anyone know if this is supported in IE7 or IE8?

My guess is that if you have to ask that, it's probably not for you ;-)

Re: How easy/hard?...

It can be done, but you'll have trouble competing with flash for sites like these.
